To determine the size of the bracelet you need, use a string, a pencil, and a ruler. Wrap the string around your wrist so that it goes all the way around, then use the pencil to mark where the two ends of the string meet. Then, take the string and measure its length using your ruler, in inches. Here is a size chart.

Karat measures gold purity, 1 karat = 1/24 gold purity. With 24 karats being pure but soft, less ideal for jewelry.
