bespoke jewelry
When it comes to your perfect piece, we think that you should be at the heart of it. Our CAD design technology tool allows our master jewelry designers to create custom-made pieces easier, faster and at the highest quality and precision.
The CAD design technology is a tool that has revolutionized the jewelry industry. It allows us to draw your design in 3D. But we wanted to push the tool a bit further. We can now create a 3D video of what you’ve imagined. This allows you to see all of the tiny details and make adjustments until you’re 100% in love with your design. We’ve found a way to make the process easy without compromising your creativity.
OUR CUSTOM DESIGN PROCESS IS EASY
step 1
Send us a photo or inspiration and answer a short questionnaire so we can get a better sense of what your beautiful brain is thinking.
step 2
Once you’ve answered the questionnaire, we’ll then provide an approximate price.
step 3
We’ll set up a virtual meeting with you to discuss your design and answer any questions you might have.
step 4
If all is to your liking, we’ll send you an invoice for a deposit.
step 5
2-4 days after the payment, you’ll receive a high quality 3D design and 3D video created by one of our master designers using CAD Design technology.
step 6
Once we receive your final approval, we will provide the final price and send you your final invoice directly in your inbox. If another meeting is necessary, we will book another private appointment with one of our experts.
step 7
Pair text with an image to focus on your chosen product, collection, or blog post. Add details on availability, style, or even provide a review.
step 8
We manufacture your design entirely by hand ensuring that every step is perfect. Casting, setting, welding and polishing are carried out on site in our Montreal workshop by our team of certified jewelers.
step 9
Your finished piece will be ready within 3 weeks.
Typically, your custom piece will be in your hands 2-4 weeks after we've finalized your design. However, because each project is different, the time it takes to complete your project may vary. Here's a rough breakdown of how long each part of our process takes:
Design
As long as it takes for you to tell us it's perfect
When it comes to creating your design, we'll work at your pace. Some customers only need to exchange a few messages with us - we'll often be ready to make their piece within a few days. Others may prefer to design and iterate with us over many weeks, or even months.
Production
Approximately 2-4 weeks
Once you've approved a design, we'll create your piece, everything is handmade. We manufacture your design entirely by hand in our Montreal workshop ensuring that every step of the design is perfect. Casting, setting, welding and polishing are carried out on site in Montreal by our team of certified jewellers in order to maintain our quality standards
Shipping
1-3 days (domestic), Approximately 1 week (international)
We offer free shipping on every order. Depending on location, international shipments can sometimes be delayed by local customs for inspection, which can extend the delivery time.
Since all our work is carried out by our jewellers, we are able to offer the fastest and most personnalized service in the jewellery industry, at a price you won’t see anywhere else. We have a very short chain of production, so you pay the right price for your jewel.
You don’t pay for the long chain of production of a mined diamond, neither for a the lease of the boutique who has a physical office. You pay the fair price.
Would you like to know a price range for your design?
There's no charge to discuss your design and price out options with our team. We request a deposit prior to producing 3D models and renderings of your design and that deposit goes toward the final cost of producing your piece.
We stand behind our jewelry 100% and we offer a comprehensive set of warranties so that you can purchase with confidence.
5 years Warranty
We guarantee our workmanship and take responsibility for any structural defects.
Certificate of Authenticity
All the materials (metals, diamonds, and gemstones) we sell are authentic and properly specified in your proposal agreement. We offer a certificate by IGI for 1 carat and up.
Accent Stone Loss Warranty
If any small accent gems (<$100 value) break or fall out of their settings in the first year after we create the ring or within a year of us performing maintenance on the ring, we’ll replace them free of charge.
Most of your ideas request diamonds and gemstones that are purchased specifically for your specific piece, which means we can’t take items back and put them in stock for another customer. Because of that, we don't accept returns, or offer refunds or cancellations, after you've paid to secure your stone(s), or after you've accepted your final proposal to begin production, whichever comes first.
Don’t worry, we know that when it comes to the fine jewelry you design with us, pretty close doesn’t cut it! If your custom piece is not exactly like the CAD design you have approved, we’ll modify it at no additional charge.
If the size on your ring isn’t quite right, just let us know within 30 days of purchase and we’ll do one resizing for free. We’ll even handle insured shipping both ways!
We still recommend doing the best you can to get the ring size right the first time around and to help, we offer free ring sizing kits for all Canadian-based customers. Please, note that not all rings can be resized. We can’t resize a ring that is too small and size changes of more than 1.5 sizes aren’t always possible. We don’t cover the cost if we need to remake the ring from scratch.
The stunning is in the details. My husband-to-be wanted the perfect ring for me. I’m pretty sure it was very stressful to choose a ring, knowing the symbol behind this specific piece. A piece we will pass to our children and grand children. He decided to design the ring himself, to add his personality to it. When he gave me the ring, it was not just about the ring itself, it was also the process that touched me the most. All the effort he made in the design, even if he told me that the process was actually very simple and easy.
I had 3 stones of outstanding tanzanite that I got 20 years ago, that I never wore. So I asked Proud Diamond if they could do anything with it. We designed a pendant. I cannot believe we were able to create such a beautiful necklace that I now wear every day. It brings me luck, I can feel it!
I renew our engagement ring every 5 years. This time, I wanted this to be even more special. I heard about lab-grown diamonds and I was very interested about the technology behind it and the values that represent the stone. Proud Diamond took the time to explain the creative process to me in detail. I actually only bought the diamond, an 8 carats round diamond that Proud Diamond delivered in helicopter to surprise my wife. On top of the diamond, my wife had the experience of designing it with a designer. She created exactly what she has dreamed. Proud Diamond really give the best experience!

Karat measures gold purity, 1 karat = 1/24 gold purity. With 24 karats being pure but soft, less ideal for jewelry. Gold is alloyed for durability, like 18 karat (75% gold) for intricate pieces, and 14 karat (58.3% gold) for a balance of strength and affordability. This applies to yellow gold, white gold, and rose gold. For your information, our 18-karat yellow gold has a richer hue compared to 14-karat yellow gold. The tone of our yellow gold is soft and subtle, avoiding an overly yellow appearance. As for 18-karat rose gold, the color is also deeper than that of 14-karat rose gold.
To determine the size of the bracelet you need, use a string, a pencil, and a ruler. Wrap the string around your wrist so that it goes all the way around, then use the pencil to mark where the two ends of the string meet. Then, take the string and measure its length using your ruler, in inches. Here is a size chart.
Carat is a measurement of weight for diamonds and other precious stones. To give you an idea of the size of a carat, it is also possible to measure it in millimeters, as shown in the table below. Larger diamonds are much more difficult to create in a laboratory and, therefore, are more expensive.
To give you an idea, here are the measurements in millimeters for different diamond shapes :
