Ring size quick guide

Use this quick guide as a starting point when choosing a ring size on a product page. Proud Diamond rings use standard US/Canada sizing.

Measure the finger that will wear the ring, on the correct hand.
Measure near the end of the day, when fingers are usually at their largest.
If you are between two sizes, choose the half size up, especially for a wider band.
For a surprise ring, use a ring that already fits the right finger or contact our team for guidance.

How to determine the size of your bracelet

To determine the size of the bracelet you need, use a string, a pencil, and a ruler. Wrap the string around your wrist so that it goes all the way around, then use the pencil to mark where the two ends of the string meet. Then, take the string and measure its length using your ruler, in inches. Here is a size chart.

Size of your wrist	Size you should take
5 inches and a half	6 inches
6 inches	6 inches and a half
6 inches and a half	7 inches

Carat

Carat is a measurement of weight for diamonds and other precious stones. To give you an idea of the size of a carat, it is also possible to measure it in millimeters, as shown in the table below. Larger diamonds are much more difficult to create in a laboratory and, therefore, are more expensive.

To give you an idea, here are the measurements in millimeters for different diamond shapes :
