OPTION 2

Measure Ring Size on Your Own

  1. Wrap a piece of string or a thin strip of paper around the base of your finger where the ring will sit.
  2. Mark where the string or paper overlaps, and measure the length in millimeters with a ruler.
  3. Use a ring size chart to determine your size based on the measurement (see at the end of this blog post).

To ensure accuracy, it's a good idea to measure your ring size at least three times, preferably using different methods. This will help you to get an average size. Besides, when in doubt, it's always better to size up rather than down. You can add a ring adjuster if it's slightly bigger.

OPTION 3

It’s a Surprise!

If you're aiming for a surprise and need a covert approach, We've got two methods to help you on your quest. First, sneakily borrow one of your girlfriend's rings to determine her size using a ring sizer or an APP. No access to her jewelry? No problem! The average size is a trusty 7. And here's the best part: if the fit isn't spot-on, we offer a complimentary adjustment, ensuring a flawless match. However, if the ring size adjustment range is higher than 1 size up, we are unable to accommodate the adjustment. If you encounter any difficulties in determining the appropriate ring size, please do not hesitate to contact us!

Ring Size Chart Guide

All Proud Diamond are specified in standard US sizes. Here is a ring size chart that includes both inch and centimeter measurements, which you may use as a reference.

Tips and tricks

  1. Each finger may have slight differences. Make sure you measure the right finger on the correct hand!
  2. Measure your finger at normal body temperature. Finger size can become different when hot or cold.
  3. Choose a time towards the end of the day when your fingers are at their largest.
  4. If your knuckle adds a twist to the equation, measure twice and choose the middle ground. Your ring should glide over the knuckle without being too loose or sliding out of place.
  5. When in doubt, go for the gold standard! The average ring size for women is 6 to 7, and the average for men is 9 to 10.
