Proud Diamond takes pride in its commitment to customer satisfaction and offers free delivery to Canada, the United States, and Europe. Once your order is ready, you will receive an email with all the shipping details, including a tracking number. We can also ship our packages to Africa, Asia, and Oceania, but please note that shipping and customs fees will apply.

Here is an approximate delivery timeline based on your region:

• Eastern Canada: 2 to 5 days
• Western Canada: 7 to 10 days
• Eastern United States: 2 to 5 days
• Western United States: 7 to 10 days
• Europe: 10 to 15 days

Proud Diamond does not assume any responsibility for delivery times, as these are only estimates and we have no control on transport companies.

Due to our artisanal approach and rigorous quality checks before shipping, please allow a crafting time of 2 to 4 weeks for your jewelry.

For custom jewelry, you can generally expect to receive it within 2 to 4 weeks after approving the design. However, the precise timeline may vary depending on the complexity of your design and the availability of diamonds and/or gemstones in the market.

If you need a last-minute piece of jewelry, we offer several options to receive it within a few days. Please check our "Last Minute Gifts" section on our website, where you will find our available items ready for shipping.

Returns

Proud Diamond offers the option to return or exchange an item within 30 days from the date of receipt of your order. However, it's important to note that custom-made jewelry is not eligible for returns or exchanges. Furthermore, if the item was purchased on sale, it is considered a final sale, and, therefore, no returns or exchanges will be authorized for discounted items.

When you wish to initiate a return or exchange, please ensure that the item is in its original condition, meaning it has never been worn, and is accompanied by its original packaging. This condition is essential for processing your return.

Please be aware that presenting your receipt is mandatory for any return or exchange request.

Please take into consideration that the time for receiving the returned or exchanged item may vary depending on your place of residence. We strongly recommend opting for a shipping service with tracking or purchasing shipping insurance. While we cannot guarantee the receipt of the returned or exchanged item, please note that all shipments made by Proud Diamond are insured. Therefore, in the event of an incident, rest assured that we will recreate the piece.

Non-Returnable Items
Please note that gift cards, custom-made jewelry, as well as items purchased on sale, are not eligible for return and/or exchange.

Refund
Upon receiving your return, our team will conduct an inspection to determine whether it can be authorized. Approval for a return may take up to 7 business days after receiving the package. Subsequently, you will receive an email confirming the receipt of your item, as well as the approval or denial of the return. The refund will then be processed; please allow up to 10 business days following the approval of the return for the amount to be credited to your bank account.

Please take into consideration that the time for receiving the returned or exchanged item may vary depending on your place of residence. We strongly recommend opting for a shipping service with tracking or purchasing shipping insurance. While we cannot guarantee the receipt of the returned or exchanged item, please note that all shipments made by Proud Diamond are insured. Therefore, in the event of an incident, rest assured that we will recreate the piece.

If you do not receive your refund within the specified timeframe, we recommend contacting your credit card issuer. It is possible that the official posting of the refund may take a bit longer. Warranty

5-Year Warranty: Engagement rings and Wedding bands

At Proud Diamond, we stand behind the quality and craftsmanship of our jewelry and offer a free 5-year warranty against craftsmanship defects on engagement rings and wedding bands purchases. 

Should you encounter any damage attributable to craftsmanship, please reach out to us at hello@prouddiamond.com with images, a brief video, and a description of the damage so we may evaluate your piece.

In the case of craftsmanship defects, Proud Diamond will, at its discretion, repair the warrantied damage or replace the item without charge. Occasionally, a fee may apply.

Our craftsmanship warranty excludes coverage for: 

• Scratches ;
• Cracked diamonds ;
• Deformed or excessively force-exposed rings or bands ;
• Lost or stolen rings ;
• Lost diamonds or gemstones ;
• Damage due to misuse, neglect, abuse, or improper cleaning/storage.

As we fully support our designs and skilled jewelers, any modification or servicing of your Proud Diamond jewelry by a third-party or external jeweler will void your warranty.

If the damage is not covered by the warranty, Proud Diamond may repair the item at the customer's expense.

The warranty does not extend to the replacement of a center stone. 

We strongly recommend securing appropriate insurance coverage for your jewelry through a third-party provider.

Complimentary service

We offer a complimentary annual prong inspection, accompanied by a thorough cleaning. 

Customers can send their rings to our workshop by mail or schedule an appointment to drop off their jewelry in person. If the item will be sent by mail, we will provide a shipping label with a tracking number.

Please note that a flat-discounted rate of $25.00 CAD will be charged for two-way fully insured shipping.

To schedule a prong inspection and/or cleaning, please contact us by email, specifying your preference between dropping off the jewelry at our workshop or mailing it.

How to schedule a drop-off at our atelier

To schedule a drop-off appointment at our atelier, simply click on Calendly link and choose an available time slot.

To maintain warranty coverage, regular cleaning and inspection are required every year from the original purchase date.

1-Year Warranty : Fine Jewelry

Proud diamond extends a 1-year warranty, valid in Canada only, for all jewelry other than engagement rings and wedding bands.

If, upon assessment, the damage is deemed irreparable via images, we may not accept the item back for further evaluation.

Ring Sizing

Proud Diamond offers complimentary ring sizing for adjustments within one size. Adjustments greater than one size incur a $75.00 CAD fee. Additional fees of $75.00 CAD apply for a second ring sizing. 

Please note that rings with diamonds all around, such as, but not limited to eternity rings, do not qualify for complimentary adjustments.

Customers have the option to either send their ring to our atelier by mail or schedule an appointment with us to personally drop off their ring at our workshop. 

For adjustments, we will cover the shipping costs to and from our workshop. If the jewelry is sent by mail, we will provide you with a shipping label with a tracking number.

Returns and Exchanges

Your satisfaction is our priority. Returns and exchanges are accepted within 30 days from the date of delivery. Beyond this period, all sales are final. 

Items not eligible for return or exchange include: 

• Custom-made jewelry ;
• Improperly packaged items, damaged or used items ; 
• Altered, engraved, or resized items ; 
• Custom or personalized items that have been altered ; 
• Items previously exchanged ;
• Items over $10 000.00 CAD ;
• Sales items ;
• Gift cards.

Loose diamonds bought for a piece are non-returnable or exchangeable once the deposit on the diamonds has been paid.

Limited edition jewelry items are not eligible for return or exchange. Deposits or payments made towards these items are non-refundable.

In the event of a return, a flat-discounted rate of $25.00 CAD will be charged for two-way fully insured shipping.

Proud Diamond covers both outbound and return shipping costs for exchanges.

Proud Diamond reserves the right to refuse a return or exchange.

How to return your item

To initiate a return, pack your order securely, then contact us at hello@prouddiamond.com or call us at 514 442-6058 to receive your priority fully-insured shipping label.

Non-returnable items

The following items are not eligible for return or exchange:

• Custom-made jewelry ;
• Improperly packaged items, damaged or used items ; 
• Altered, engraved, or resized items ; 
• Custom or personalized items that have been altered ; 
• Items previously exchanged ;
• Items over $10 000.00 CAD ;
• Sales items ;
• Gift cards.

Refund

Upon receipt of your item, you will be sent a confirmation email acknowledging its arrival. Our team will conduct a thorough inspection which may take up to 7 business days.

Refunds will be processed within 10 business days following the inspection date. 

Proud Diamond retains the right to reject returns.

A $25.00 CAD return shipping fee will be deducted from the initial invoice amount. 

Please be aware that shipping fees are non-refundable.

Promotional Codes
If you have purchased an item with a promotional coupon and wish to initiate a return or exchange, please be aware that the previously used promotional code cannot be reused.

The use of promotional codes is only permitted for transactions of $200.00 CAD or more. Purchases below this amount will not be eligible for completion.
